CBSE has successfully conducted the JEE Main 2016 Offline Exam on 3rd April 2016. There were more than 16 lakh students appearing for JEE Main 2016 Exam out of which top 1.5 lakh students who also have to be in top 20 percentile of students in boards appeared for JEE Advanced 2016 Exam for IITs. Most of the students opted for Offline Mode of exam this year.

The release of answer key by the coaching institutes will precede the release of official key and hence will offer an immediate exam analysis to all the students. JEE Main 2016 Answer Key will thus be a good source to evaluate exam performance immediately.
JEE-Main Exam has two papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2. Candidates may opt for either or both of them.
Paper-1 is for admission in B.Tech, Paper-2 is for admission in B.Arch. Both papers contain objective type questions. The top 150,000 qualified students are eligible to attend the JEE-Advanced Exam. The eligibility to write the JEE-Advanced exam will be based on the performance in the JEE-Main examination.

How to use JEE Main 2016 Exam Answer Key for marks estimation?
- Match the Question Paper Code with that of Answer Key.
- Evaluate the exam answers and calculate the total score after counting the negative marking.
- Compare this score estimated with JEE Main 2016 Answer Key with last year Cut Off as it will help the candidates to formulate an educated guess about them qualifying the exam or not and which courses they can apply for.
- Official Answer Key – Release and Usage:
After the exam conduction is done with, the JEE Organizing Bodies will issue the Answer Key of JEE Main 2016 which can be used by all the exam participants to generate their exam score. This key will be the most authentic source of marks evaluation and will be used to generate the exam result. Hence every candidate should use it for better and authentic exam analysis.
