The Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, in its endeavour to provide technical manpower suited to varied needs of industry, imparts technical education and technological skills through various courses of study of different levels. Full-time Diploma Courses in Engineering / Technology, Occupational and ITI/Secretarial / Management based disciplines are offered at different AICTE approved Government Polytechnics, Privately Managed Polytechnics and Government Aided Institutions affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Delhi.
The Department of Training & Technical Education plans to admit students to first semester/ first year for the academic session 2015-16 for various Full-time Diploma programmes (Engineering and non-Engineering) being offered at Institutes affiliated to the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Delhi, through the Common Entrance Test (CET- 2015). Controller of CET 2015, on behalf of Delhi Knowledge Development Foundation, under Department of Training & Technical Education shall conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET-2015) and shall announce the centers where the tests shall be held.

CET-2015 will also be available for lateral entry of candidates passing out from CBSE 10+2 (Vocational Engineering Stream) from Schools located in Delhi & those from Industrial Training institutions located in Delhi & affiliated to SCVT / NCVT. These students will be eligible for admission to Second Year/Third Semester of Full-Time Diploma Engineering courses in analogous disciplines against 10% supernumerary seats earmarked for them subject to regulations or guidelines issued by the AICTE or the Government of NCT of Delhi. However, ITI pass outs of trades for which the entry level qualification for admission to ITI is 8th pass or the duration of ITI trade is less than TWO year shall not be considered for lateral entry.

Delhi CET 2015 Eligibility criteria :
The candidates must be having educational qualifications as per test like whether they are going to apply for Test 1 , Test 2 , Test 3 , Test 4 or Test 5 which is mentioned below as :
For Test 1 : The candidates must be having 10th class passed with minimum 35% marks by aggregating science , maths and english.
For Test 2 : The students must have passed 12th class passed must have minimum 45% marks with best subjects, for SC/ST category , they are required to have 40% marks. The students applying for Test 2 must have English for Modern office Practice as compulsory subject.
For Test 3 : Those who want to apply must have 12th class passed with CBSE with minimum 45% marks and Hindi/Sanskrit for Modern office Practice as compulsory subject.
For Test 4 : The candidates going to apply for Diploma in Pharmacy course can apply for Test 4 and have done 12th passed with CBSE board and candidates form National Institute of Open schooling will not be considered eligible.
For Test 5 : The candidates who want to be lateral admission candidates can apply.

How to apply for Delhi CET 2015 :
The candidates have to apply online by going to the mentioned link below. To fill online , they must have to first fill application form correctly and then have to upload scanned images and the last step to apply is to pay examination fee. Fill all details correctly and provide a valid email id and after successful registration , take a printout of the form and note down the registration number/application number.
