Normalized marks for multisession papers (CE, CS, EC, EE, ME)
-A candidate is considered qualified if the marks secured are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks mentioned for the category for which a valid Category Certificate, if applicable, is produced along with this scorecard.

- An electronic or paper copy of this document is not valid for admission.
- An official GATE 2016 Score Card can be downloaded from the GOAPS site between March 27, 2016 and May 29, 2016 by the following candidates:
- All the candidates whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks of OBC (NCL) candidates in their respective papers, and
- All SC/ST/PwD candidates* whose marks are greater than or equal to the qualifying marks of SC/ST/PwD candidates in their respective papers.
- * As per GATE 2016 candidate records.
- For the papers CE, CS, EC, EE and ME, qualifying marks and score are based on "Normalized Marks".
