Joint Entrance Examination Main 2016 Results by CBSE & Score and Result for JEE (Main) - 2016
The score of Paper-I of JEE (Main) – 2016 for all candidates will be declared by 27th April 2016. This score shall comprise the actual marks obtained in Paper-I of JEE (Main) – 2016 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) – 2016 provided and subject to other conditions of eligibility being met. Separately, on the basis of score in JEE (Main)-2016 and normalised score in Class 12th or equivalent qualifying exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively), separate rank lists will be prepared for admission to B.E./B. Tech. and B. Arch/ B. Planning (in institutions other than IITs). This will be declared by 27th of July 2016. JEE (Main)-2016 Rank Card indicating All India Rank, State Rank and Category Rank with total marks and marks in each paper will be available on JEE (Main) website after the declaration of result.
JEE Advanced Results announced...
Only the All India Rank (AIR) is used for admissions through Central Seat Allocation Board to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/SFIs/Others, while other ranks are for information purposes. No score/rank card will be dispatched to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their score/rank cards from the JEE (Main) website http://jeemain.nic.in only. In case of a tie, i.e. when two or more candidates obtain equal marks (by giving 60% weightage to performance in JEE (Main) and 40% weightage to normalised marks in Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination), inter-se merit of such candidates shall be decided in the following order: Rank list for admission to B.E/B.Tech(in institutions other than IITs).
Resolution by marks obtained in Mathematics in JEE (Main) – 2016. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank. Resolution by marks obtained in Physics in the JEE (Main) – 2016. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank. Resolution by total normalised qualifying exam marks. Candidate obtaining higher normalised marks will be given better rank. Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks. Candidate having higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank. If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given the same rank. Rank list for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning(in institutions other than IITs). Resolution by marks obtained in Aptitude Test in Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.) in JEE (Main) – 2016. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.

The applicants who are looking for their JEE Main Result 2014 are now able to check their result. The students wait has now finally finished as the result is now available to check on www.jeemain.nic.in.
The Examination was arranged on 04 April , 2016 for offline mode and for online mode , it was between 10 April , 2016 & 11 April , 2016. The applicants also have checked their officially released key and by matching their answers , they have concluded that they are going to qualify the examination , for them its very tough to wait just for 2 to 3 hours.
JEE Main Result 2016 available on 27 April , 2016 :
The candidates are very eager to check their result. The JEE Main is held for admissions into first year of BE/BTech and B.Arch courses. The Result is now available on 27 April, 2016. So check your result easily by following the steps mentioned as :
Steps to check JEE Main Result 2016 :
1. Go to official site jeemain.nic.in or the link below.
2. Now just click on result link for JEE Main 2016.
3. Then enter the mandatory details like your registration number , date of birth.
4. Click on submit button to enter the details.
5. Now your result is displayed on screen.
JEE Advanced Exam 2016 :
The one and half million candidates who will be qualified after the JEE Main Result 2014 will have to appear for JEE Advanced exam which has been scheduled on 25 May , 2014. Those who will be qualified in advanced exam has to take admissions through counselling process for which the schedule will be released very soon.
JEE Main Score Card 2016 :
The candidates who will qualify the JEE Main 2016 exam will receive their score card from 07 July , 2016. The score card contains the All India Rank , score card , their category wise rank.

The answer keys and images of response sheets (OMR sheets) of Pen & Paper Based examination and Computer based examination will be displayed on the website www.jeemain.nic.in during 18-22 April 2016. The candidates, who are not satisfied with the captured response, may challenge by filling online application form and paying a sum of Rs.1000/- per question The challenge of answer keys will also be accepted online only through the link available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in up to 5.00 PM on 22/04/2016 on payment of Rs.1000/- per question. The fee can be paid by credit/debit card or e-challan. The fee once paid is non-refundable. The JAB’s/CBSE’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained. All participating institutes that do not use the centralised Seat Allocation Process will prepare their own ranking based on the performance in JEE (Main)-2016 and other criteria as decided by them.
