Application are called from Candidates passed SSC or its equivalent
recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, TS, Hyderabad
(or) appearing in 2023 to appear “Polytechnic Common Entrance
Test - POLYCET-2023” for seeking admission into Diploma Courses in
Engineering and Non- Engineering/ Technology offered at
Polytechnics/ Institutions (including Govt./Aided and Unaided
polytechnics/ Institutions and Polytechnics running in Private
Engineering Colleges) in Telangana State, Agricultural courses
offered by Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural
University (PJTSAU) , Horticultural Diploma courses offer by Sri
Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University (SKLTSHU),
Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Courses offered by PV Narasimha
Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU).
Eligibility to appear for POLYCET-2023
Candidates who have passed
SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the Board of
Secondary Education, TS, Hyderabad are eligible to apply. The
candidates who have compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC2023 are also eligible to apply.
However, they must have passed in
all the subjects before seeking admission. Detailed information
regarding eligibility, age and syllabus etc., are given in the
Instruction Booklet which is available in the website
www.polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in .
How to apply: State Board of Technical Education & Training,
Hyderabad has made arrangements to file online applications at
various AP-Online/ through the payment gateway. The detailed list
of Coordinating centers is available on the website
www.polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in order to file an
application, the general candidates shall pay the examination fee of
Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) and for SC/ST candidates
Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only).
The detailed procedure of filling up the application form is available
in the Instructions. Candidates are advised to read these
instructions carefully before filling out the Application. A duly filledin application form is to be given to the Operator for filing Online at
the nearest Coordinating Centre File No.SBTET-EE-2/POLY/P I/1/2019-EE-2.

The Admission Schedule: The admission schedule (Web Counselling)
will be notified in all the leading Newspapers after declaration of
POLYCET-2023 results. Candidates are advised to note that the
admission into Polytechnics for the academic year 2023-24 shall be
made on the basis of Web Counselling, wherein the candidates can
opt for any courses in any Polytechnic in the order of priority and
the allotment shall be made for his/her best-preferred choice based
on his/her merit and other admission rules in vogue. Details of Web
counselling and the list of Co-ordinating centers will be available on
the website polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in shall also be notified
in all the leading Newspapers after declaration of POLYCET results.
Important Instructions for Candidates: -
a) Hall Ticket issued to you is an important document. Please
preserve it carefully till the admissions.
b) Candidate shall arrive at the examination hall at least 1 hour
before commencement of the examination. This will enable the
candidate to familiarize himself/herself with the OMR response
sheet.
c) Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after
11:00 AM, once the examination has commenced.
d) Candidates are directed to carry the following to the examination
hall
(a). Good ballpoint pen (black), (b). Writing pad (c). HB
Pencils (d).an Eraser (e). Sharpener.
e) Candidate should not bring logbooks, tables, calculators, tabs,
cell phones, communicable/programmable electronic gadgets,
etc. into the examination hall.
f) Candidates must remain seated in their allotted seats till the
completion of the examination. In no case, they will be allowed to
leave the examination hall till 1:30 PM. Before leaving, the
candidates must return the OMR response sheet to the invigilator
g) Candidates are advised to go through the instructions given for
marking answers and other entries on the OMR response sheet
thoroughly.

The Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test is a state level examination that will be conducted at the various examination centers.
